The Want is a powerful being that sees every dream in, and oversees all of Foo. The Want manipulates dreams when ever they pass. They also hold one of the metal keys to release the Dearth.
To become the Want you must hit a weak spot on The Want's skin. The spot is a red circle, but it is difficult to hit, and is usually destined to be hit because The Want has many moving red circles all over their body. Hector Thumps and his grandson Leven Thumps were both Wants (the Fifth and Sixth, respectively), as were four others before them.
